Pshaw, Says No One Ever in 2013

I'm feeling a bit like a heroine in a bad Lifetime TV movie. Sometimes I get caught up in my own story. I once read a word in an old Harlequin Victorian romance novel. I guess I thought if someone in the 1800's could say it so could I in the 1980's. So I wrote the word 'pshaw' in my diary (Pshaw, that boy doesn't like ME?!) and my sister read it and never let me live it down.

'Uh Kay, people really don't talk like that.'

'Yeah, they do.'

'Maybe if they're attending balls and dancing with Dukes and Lords but you live in New England and are sitting in front of the Atari playing Pit Fall so never use that word again.'

I'm a little of a wingnut sometimes. So while I'm feeling kind of melancholic, philosophical or maybe just plain ridiculous, I'm going to throw some quotes out there.

The first two are ones for my kids and I to live our lives by.

(I could say that my husband was taken too but that didn't stop his whore from banging him but I digress... This is supposed to be an inspirational quote.)

And one for Army Boy -
