Ockham’s Razor

I received some marketing email today that referenced Ockham’s Razor. Maybe you're not familiar with that name but I'm sure you've heard of the principle behind it - 'The simplest explanation is usually the correct one'. I think this email was sent specifically to me by the internet Gods.

Last night I was talking with an old friend, catching her up on the divorce saga. We briefly talked about why the hell would my husband do what he did? PTSD, depression, he's lost his frigging mind.... Our final theory was that he's an asshole. I'm thinking that would be the answer to the question according to Ockham’s Razor. The simplest explanation is that he's an asshole. Stop looking for anything beyond that.
